Fulton Fithouse was founded by Christine and Michael Madonis — two people on a mission to make the world a little better every single day. Along the way, they fell in love, brought three amazing kids into the world, and inspired hundreds of people to take a no-BS look at the true foundations of health and longevity. No shortcuts. Not always what you want — but always what you need.
One of the people they inspired was Mark Reddrick.
As one of the very first clients to step into the gym in its rawest form — a 900 sq. ft. studio apartment where Christine and Mike lived and trained — Mark became fascinated with how humans actually work. Coming from a background in business, economics, and nearly a decade of mentorship and early childhood education, he began connecting the dots between performance, the brain, healing, food, and human behavior.
That curiosity evolved into a clear and powerful stance: Live long. Move well. Restore what’s been lost. Build what’s been neglected. And prioritize the quality of your life as much as the length of it.
Today, that philosophy is the backbone of Fulton Fithouse. We don’t chase trends. We don’t sell gimmicks. We coach people through a deeply personal process of rebuilding function, restoring mobility, and creating permanent patterns that support a stronger, pain-free, resilient human being.
No fluff. No hype. Just transformation grounded in real human performance and real human connection.
Born in Chicago and raised in New Orleans, Mark, the owner of this Black-owned boutique gym, brings a unique perspective to Fulton Fithouse. His deeply human-centered coaching blends analytical thinking, informed by a background in economics, with extensive lived athletic experience. This foundation fuels his data-driven approach to strength training, movement analysis, and long-term client development, focusing on numbers, patterns, and systems to optimize results.
Mark's journey into fitness was sparked by a decade in Early Childhood Mentorship, which focused on optimizing developing minds and bodies. This work led him to a fundamental question: What happens when adults stop learning how to move? This curiosity propelled him into a full-scale exploration of functional restoration—covering mobility, pain-free mechanics, movement literacy, nutrition, recovery, and performance that is genuinely applicable to real life.
His passion evolved into a clear calling: helping people feel, move, and live better by fundamentally rebuilding the body's movement capabilities in any environment. Mark's commitment extends to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and seen. He firmly believes that high-quality coaching should be personal, accessible, and rooted in genuine human connection—not in intimidation, ego, or fitness theatrics.
Mark's unwavering coaching philosophy is simple: how you move shapes how you live. He recognizes that daily movement patterns—whether from sitting behind a laptop, chasing children, traveling frequently, or training for a demanding event—directly mold your quality of life. His programs are designed to identify the impact of modern sedentary habits and re-educate the body back toward its most natural, efficient, and resilient state.
Through fully customized private 1:1 training and small-group
development, Mark meets clients exactly where they are. He helps them build strength, mobility, endurance, and long-term resilience, moving away from the quick-fix mentality and the cycle of burnout
